Bather Basics

This course is designed for the beginner to intermediate Bather.  Double, triple, and combination coat type evaluations, proper coat care, identifying matting and managing it, shed control techniques to optimize the bathing process (close-open-close), nail care, ear cleaning, and mastering the final brush-out.

 Learn the fundamental skills of double and triple coated breeds that require a unique set of grooming standards.  This course is designed to make grooming easier on these heavy coats.  Understanding of skin and coat requirements along with management techniques to preserve as much coat as possible.  Client education is key to the healthy maintenance of these breeds.
